Husqvarna Automower 410XE NERA is an advanced robotic lawn mower designed for lawns of up to 1000m². The Automower 410XE NERA features an EdgeCut function that significantly reduces the need for manual trimming of lawn edges, thereby conserving both time and effort. The Automower 410XE NERA provides the flexibility of installation with either physical boundaries or a wire-free option utilizing Husqvarna EPOS™ technology. This satellite-based system offers virtual boundaries with an impressive accuracy of 2-3 cm, eliminating concerns about wire damage.
Additionally, the integrated Zone Control feature allows users to customize their lawn care by creating multiple work areas with distinct settings through the Automower Connect app. Users can also establish temporary stay-out zones to protect seasonal wildflowers or designated garden project areas.
The mower is equipped with object detection capabilities, ensuring precise cutting while minimizing the risk of collisions and unexpected halts. Through the Automower® Connect app, users can monitor their mower remotely, integrate it with smart home systems, issue commands, adjust settings, and receive notifications for comprehensive lawn management.
In order to have the boundary wire free solution you need a Husqvarna Automower 410XE NERA robotic mower and a Husqvarna EPOS Plug-in. The correction data for the satellite technology is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional cost. If you do not have cellular coverage across your full lawn area then you will need to purchase the EPOS RS1 Reference Station. The Automower Connect app is also required to create a virtual installation.

Minimised trimming with EdgeCut
The need to trim the edges of your lawn is minimised, saving time and effort. This is made possible by a dedicated rear EdgeCut disc that can cut so close to the edges that only a minimum of grass is left uncut.
Automower® Zone Control
Automower® Zone Control allows you to easily create work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones. It gives you more control over the lawn so you can apply different schedules and cutting heights to each area or prevent the robotic lawn mower from mowing in selected areas.
Object Detection & Avoidance
Built-in sensors assist the mower to detect and avoid objects, reducing the risk of unplanned stops. The detections mode reduces the speed and makes collisions softer and the avoidance mode causes the mower to turn away and avoid impact.
Automower® Connect app
Enjoy the convenience of remote control from your smartphone with the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. Among other things, you can manage and monitor your Husqvarna robotic lawn mower, change settings, and get easy access to information and tips that make lawn maintenance carefree. Cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity available, dependent on model.
Electric height adjustment
Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. The setting is also accessible from the mower’s main menu.
Smart Home integration
Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control and status updates. This applies to all Husqvarna Automower® models with cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, letting you execute voice commands such as start, stop and park, and get status updates from your mower by simply asking your voice assistant. With Automower® Connect you can also integrate your robotic mower with your Gardena Smart System and let mowing and watering work together.
GPS theft tracking
Equipped with GPS tracking to keep track of the mower’s current position and minimise the risk of theft. Notifications will be sent to your device via the Automower Connect® app, letting you know where your mower is at all times.
Automower® Access
The new Automower Access user interaction with high-resolution colour display, jog wheel and status indicators, provides an intuitive yet sophisticated way of controlling your mower. The icon-based design language integrates intuitively with the Automower® Connect smartphone app, providing a seamless user experience.
Automower® X-Line
Husqvarna Automower® X-Line is our most fully-featured range, designed for those who want a top-of-the-line robotic lawn mower. Equipped with the X-Line feature package, including Automower® Connect with GPS theft tracking, GPS assisted navigation, LED headlights, front rubber bumper and X-Line body design.
GeoFence
If the mower is moved outside the predefined area, you will be notified in the app and the mower alarm will sound, minimising the risk of theft. Simply use the Automower® Connect app to define your mower’s GeoFence area.
FOTA – Firmware-Over-The-Air
Easily make software updates yourself, via the Automower® Connect app, to enable new features and updates
Frost guard
The robotic mower automatically interrupts the mowing schedule in frosty conditions, helping to protect the lawn.
Rewilding Mode
Rewilding Mode is designed to let nature back into your garden. When activated, it automatically allocates 10% of your lawn to a rewilding zone. Automower® will leave this area untouched for as long as you want and you can rescale, reshape, move or remove the rewilding zone at any time. This feature is available on the following models: 405X, 415X, 430X NERA, 435X AWD and 450X NERA and users will be notified about the update via the Automower® Connect app. 430X NERA and 450X NERA need a boundary wire installation to use Rewilding Mode.
Automatic passage handling
Husqvarna Automower® automatically senses narrow passages and finds its way even through the smallest passages. It will vary its route through the passage to avoid unpleasant tracks.
Weather timer
Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s growth rate, meaning that Husqvarna Automower® will maximise its mowing time during periods of strong grass growth. In sunny or dry weather, or late in the season, the mower will spend less time mowing, which decreases wear on lawn and mower.
Spiral cutting
Automatic cutting functionality to even out grass height differences. Cutting disc sensors detect whether the mower enters an area with higher grass and switches cutting technology to systematic spiral pattern.

How to install your Husqvarna robotic lawn mower
Begin by taking a look at your lawn. To minimise the risk of having your machine get stuck or damaged, the grass has to be cleared of all rocks, twigs, tools, toys and similar obstacles. Also, if the grass is longer than ten centimetres you are recommended to cut it with a regular lawn mower one last time.
1. Place the charging station
Place the charging station on flat ground in the middle of the cutting area with some free space around it. Make sure the station is free from sunlight, out of reach of sprinklers and close to a power outlet.
2. Charge the battery
Once the charging station is in place, it’s time to charge your robotic mower. Put the robotic mower in the charging station and move on to the next step. Charging an empty battery takes 80-100 minutes.
3. Lay the boundary wire
The boundary wire is put along the edges of the lawn to define the cutting area. Simply attach it to the ground with the special nails enclosed in the package and the robotic mower will know exactly where to turn. Put “islands” of wire around flowerbeds and bushes to keep the mower from running into them.
4. Lay the guide wire
The purpose of the guide wire is to lead the Husqvarna Automower® back to the charging station when needed. Connect one end to the station and place the wire straight across the farthest part of your garden so that the robotic lawn mower can easily find it. The other end is attached to the boundary wire where they intersect. Both the boundary and the guide wire are then connected to the charging station.
5. Relax
Turn on your Husqvarna Automower®, select your four-digit pin code, adjust the cutting height and set the work hours. And that’s it! The robotic mower will charge until ready before it heads out – at which point you have officially mowed the lawn for the last time.
What is the lifetime of Automower® cutting blades?
The normal lifetime of Automower® cutting blades is 3 to 6 weeks when used under favourable conditions, but the lifetime varies and depends for instance on:
Blade model. For example, Husqvarna Automower® Endurance blades provide three times the lifetime compared to classic Automower® Blades, and Husqvarna Endurance HSS Blades even longer.
What happens if I do not change the blades on my Automower® robotic lawn mower?
Working with blunt blades gives a poorer mowing result. The grass is not cut cleanly, and more energy is needed, resulting in the robotic lawn mower not mowing the expected area size.
