Husqvarna have brought a new series of robotic lawn mowers with two installation options: physical boundary wires or a flexible wire free installation. Available for different lawn sizes, the range consists of Automower 310E NERA, Automower 410XE NERA, Automower 320 NERA, Automower 430X NERA and Automower 450X NERA.

The Automower NERA range is crafted with aesthetic excellence and advanced intelligence, ensuring an impeccable lawn. These robotic lawn mowers are designed to navigate challenging terrains, tight corners, and slopes on large, medium, and intricate lawns with remarkable precision. The latest models in this series also incorporate a time-saving EdgeCut feature, significantly reducing the need for manual trimming of lawn edges.

The NERA robotic lawn mowers offer two installation methods: the traditional boundary wires or a flexible, wire-free setup facilitated by the optional Husqvarna EPOS plug-in and reference station. With every mowing aspect refined and intelligent features such as object avoidance, you will have more leisure time to appreciate your garden.

Virtual boundaries

To take advantage of a hassle-free, wire-free installation, it is necessary to utilize the optional Husqvarna EPOS plug-in and reference station. This setup provides a reliable and precise installation through the use of virtual boundaries, thereby reducing the likelihood of wire damage. You can conveniently modify your installation throughout the season to meet your garden maintenance requirements using the Automower® Connect app. The system allows for accurate and adaptable area management, enabling you to designate various sections of your lawn and implement distinct settings and schedules, or establish temporary stay-out zones.

Husqvarna EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System)

Husqvarna EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System) represents the most advanced technology for residential Automower® robotic lawn mowers. This satellite-based system allows the mower to operate within exact, wire-free boundaries. By utilizing your mobile phone along with the Automower® Connect app, you can effortlessly establish these virtual boundaries. The system also permits the creation of flexible work areas and temporary stay-out zones, providing customizable zone management. Husqvarna’s sophisticated satellite technology offers centimeter-level precision in mere seconds, necessitating an unobstructed view of the sky to maintain optimal operational conditions.

EdgeCut

The innovative EdgeCut feature significantly reduces the necessity for trimming the edges of your lawn. The specialized rear disc is capable of cutting remarkably close to the edges, leaving only a minimal amount of grass untrimmed. Enjoy a more efficient lawn care experience that conserves both time and effort.

Handles Slopes up to 50%

All Automower NERA models are equipped with a pivoting front axis that enhances the contact between the wheels and the ground. This design facilitates better tracking on slopes and irregular surfaces, thereby reducing the likelihood of unexpected halts. Furthermore, Automower NERA mowers are capable of managing inclines of up to 50%.

Or, for a carpet-like finish, choose the irregular pattern mode, which gives a 3200 m² area capacity. Precise mowing is achieved with a reduced risk of impact and unplanned stops due to the sensors on the mower which detect and avoid obstacles.

In order to have the boundary wire free solution you need a Husqvarna Automower® 430X NERA robotic mower and a Husqvarna EPOS™ Plug-in, which needs to be attached to the mower as part of the installation process. The correction data for the satellite technology is provided via the Husqvarna Cloud at no additional cost. If you do not have cellular or Wi-Fi coverage across your full lawn area then you will need to purchase the EPOS™ RS1 Reference Station. The Automower® Connect app is also required to create a virtual installation.
