Husqvarna Automower 405XE NERA, equipped with wire-free technology, is designed for managing lawns of up to 900 m². The Automower 405XE NERA EdgeCut feature significantly reduces the need for edge trimming, thereby conserving both time and effort. The wire-free installation provides unparalleled flexibility with accurate virtual boundaries, facilitated by satellite-based technology through the EPO Plug-in, eliminating the possibility of wire damage.

Customize your lawn care by establishing multiple work areas with distinct settings using the Automower Connect app. Additionally, you can easily create temporary stay-out zones to protect seasonal wildflowers or designated garden project areas.

Achieve either a sleek or patterned appearance on your lawn through systematic mowing. The selectable mowing patterns allow you to opt for a visual design of your preference, such as stripes, checkerboard, or triangles, as the mower operates in parallel lines, accommodating an area of up to 900 m². Alternatively, for a more textured finish, the irregular pattern mode can be selected, which caters to a 600 m² area capacity.

The mower ensures precise cutting with minimized risk of collisions and unexpected halts, thanks to its sensors that detect and navigate around obstacles.

Maintain oversight of your mower from any location globally and integrate it with your smart home system via the Automower Connect app. This application allows you to send commands, configure and modify your installation and zones, adjust mower settings, and receive notifications for comprehensive lawn management.

To utilize the boundary wire-free solution, you will require a Husqvarna Automower 405XE NERA robotic mower along with a Husqvarna EPOS™ Plug-in. The satellite technology’s correction data is supplied through the Husqvarna Cloud at no extra charge. If you do not have cellular coverage across your full lawn area then you will need to purchase the EPOS RS1 Reference Station. The Automower Connect app is also required to create a virtual installation.

Minimised trimming with EdgeCut

The need to trim the edges of your lawn is minimised, saving time and effort. This is made possible by a dedicated rear EdgeCut disc that can cut so close to the edges that only a minimum of grass is left uncut.

Automower® Zone Control

Automower® Zone Control allows you to easily create work areas with different settings and temporary stay-out zones. It gives you more control over the lawn so you can apply different schedules and cutting heights to each area or prevent the robotic lawn mower from mowing in selected areas.

Object Detection & Avoidance

Built-in sensors assist the mower to detect and avoid objects, reducing the risk of unplanned stops. The detections mode reduces the speed and makes collisions softer and the avoidance mode causes the mower to turn away and avoid impact.

Automower® Connect app

Enjoy the convenience of remote control from your smartphone with the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. Among other things, you can manage and monitor your Husqvarna robotic lawn mower, change settings, and get easy access to information and tips that make lawn maintenance carefree. Cellular, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity available, dependent on model.

Electric height adjustment

Electric cutting height adjustment makes it convenient to set the desired height via the Husqvarna Automower® Connect app. The setting is also accessible from the mower’s main menu.

Smart Home integration

Compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home for convenient voice control and status updates. This applies to all Husqvarna Automower® models with cellular or Wi-Fi connectivity, letting you execute voice commands such as start, stop and park, and get status updates from your mower by simply asking your voice assistant. With Automower® Connect you can also integrate your robotic mower with your Gardena Smart System and let mowing and watering work together.

GPS theft tracking

Equipped with GPS tracking to keep track of the mower’s current position and minimise the risk of theft. Notifications will be sent to your device via the Automower Connect® app, letting you know where your mower is at all times.

The feature is enabled by EPOS technology, and when choosing systematic mowing, the mower runs in parallel lines and creates a visual pattern on the lawn. For example, you can choose between stripes, triangles, and checkerboard.

Weather timer

Adjusts the working time to the lawn’s growth rate, meaning that Husqvarna Automower® will maximise its mowing time during periods of strong grass growth. In sunny or dry weather, or late in the season, the mower will spend less time mowing, which decreases wear on lawn and mower.

Spiral cutting

Automatic cutting functionality to even out grass height differences. Cutting disc sensors detect whether the mower enters an area with higher grass and switches cutting technology to systematic spiral pattern.
